About VAAS Group

Built to win.
Built to transform.

VAAS Group is a UK registered prime contractor and bid consultancy. We win contracts in cleaning, marketing, auditing, and social value. Once we win, we deliver using transformative data insight that gives every client full visibility, confidence, and measurable outcomes throughout the life of the contract.

VAAS Group Ltd is a United Kingdom prime contractor and bid consultancy specialising in competitive procurement across cleaning, marketing, auditing, and social value. We were established with a clear purpose: to win the right contracts and then deliver them in a way that sets a new standard for what clients can expect.

We are parented with Dyah Creative for marketing strategy and bid communications, and we operate Vaas cleaning service as our professional cleaning arm, VAAS Investment across residential property, and VAAS Sport in cricket and community development. Every company in the group is built to perform at contract level and report transparently on every metric that matters.

We also work as a consultant for bid write up. That means we sit alongside organisations, understand their offer, and build submissions that are scored well because they are factual, structured, and genuinely competitive. We do not write bids that tell evaluators what they want to hear. We build bids that demonstrate what clients can actually deliver.

Where VAAS Group leads delivery, we use transformative data insight as our operating method. Real time audit data, GPS verified attendance, live KPI dashboards, and structured performance reporting give clients a level of confidence and visibility that most contracts simply do not provide. The data does not support the delivery. The data is what makes the delivery excellent.

VAAS Group is working towards accreditation of ISO 9001 (Quality Management) and ISO 45001 (Health and Safety), alongside Safe Contractor and CHAS certification. We are an accredited London Living Wage employer and hold professional indemnity at UK comparable levels across all operating companies.

Our Approach

How we win and how we deliver

01
Competitive Bids that Win
We write and support bids across cleaning, marketing, auditing, and social value. Every submission is built around what the client genuinely does, scored against real criteria, and structured to be competitive against the actual field. We do not produce generic responses. We produce submissions that reflect real capability and win.
02
Transformative Data Delivery
Once a contract is won, we deliver using transformative data insight. Real time audit scores, GPS verified performance, live KPI dashboards, and structured reporting give clients a level of visibility they rarely experience from a service provider. The data does not just track the delivery. It transforms what delivery means.
03
Social Value Built In
Social value is embedded into every contract we deliver and every bid we write. London Living Wage, hyper local recruitment, community partnerships, and measurable social outcomes are not added at the end. They are part of how we operate. Evaluators can score it because it is real.

1. Introduction

VAAS Group Limited (Company No. 10414750) is committed to promoting equality, diversity and inclusion across all its business activities. This policy sets out the company's approach to ensuring fair treatment for all employees, workers, clients, contractors and other persons connected with the business, in accordance with the Equality Act 2010 and associated codes of practice issued by the Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC).

This policy applies to all activities of VAAS Group Limited, including employment and recruitment, the manufacture and sale of wearing apparel and accessories, management of real estate, and management consultancy services.

2. Legislative Framework

2.1 The Equality Act 2010

The Equality Act 2010 is the primary piece of legislation governing equality and non-discrimination in England, Wales and Scotland. It replaced and consolidated previous anti-discrimination laws, including the Sex Discrimination Act 1975, the Race Relations Act 1976 and the Disability Discrimination Act 1995. The Act protects people from discrimination, harassment and victimisation in the workplace, when providing services, and in other areas of public life.

2.2 Protected Characteristics

Under the Equality Act 2010, it is unlawful to discriminate against a person because of any of the following nine protected characteristics:

Age
Disability
Gender Reassignment
Marriage & Civil Partnership
Pregnancy & Maternity
Race
Religion or Belief
Sex
Sexual Orientation

2.3 Types of Prohibited Conduct

Direct Discrimination
Treating someone less favourably because of a protected characteristic.
Indirect Discrimination
Applying a provision, criterion or practice that puts people with a protected characteristic at a particular disadvantage where this cannot be objectively justified.
Harassment
Unwanted conduct related to a protected characteristic that has the purpose or effect of violating dignity or creating an intimidating, hostile, degrading, humiliating or offensive environment.
Victimisation
Subjecting someone to a detriment because they have made, or are suspected of making, a complaint or allegation of discrimination, or because they have supported such a complaint.
Failure to Adjust
Failing to take reasonable steps to remove disadvantages faced by disabled people.

3. Scope and Application

This policy applies to all directors, employees, workers and volunteers; contractors, consultants and agency staff; clients, customers and members of the public; and any other person connected with the company's business activities.

The policy applies at all stages of the employment relationship — including recruitment and selection, terms and conditions, training and development, promotion, discipline, grievance and termination — as well as in the delivery of goods and services.

4. The Company's Commitment

4.1 General Commitment

VAAS Group Limited is committed to treating all individuals with dignity and respect regardless of any protected characteristic; providing an inclusive working environment free from discrimination, harassment and victimisation; making decisions based on objective criteria, merit and ability; complying fully with the Equality Act 2010; and actively promoting equality of opportunity in all its activities.

4.2 Recruitment and Selection

All job advertisements and recruitment materials are free from discriminatory language, requirements or assumptions. Selection criteria and processes are objective, transparent and based on the skills, knowledge and experience relevant to the role. No questions about health or disability are asked prior to a job offer being made, except in the limited circumstances permitted by the Equality Act 2010.

4.3 Terms and Conditions of Employment

All employees and workers will receive equal access to pay and benefits that are fair and non-discriminatory; training and development opportunities; promotion and career progression on the basis of merit; and flexible working arrangements, considered fairly and without discrimination.

4.4 Reasonable Adjustments

VAAS Group Limited recognises its duty under the Equality Act 2010 to make reasonable adjustments for disabled employees, workers and service users. The company will consider each situation individually and take all reasonable steps to remove, reduce or avoid disadvantages experienced by disabled persons.

4.5 Equal Pay

VAAS Group Limited is committed to ensuring that employees doing equal work, work of equal value, or work rated as equivalent receive equal pay, regardless of sex or any other protected characteristic. Pay secrecy clauses in employment contracts are unenforceable under the Equality Act 2010 in respect of discussions about pay equality.

5. Responsibilities

5.1 Director

Samuel Oluwanishola Anyia, Director, has overall responsibility for ensuring VAAS Group Limited complies with its legal obligations under the Equality Act 2010 and for the effective implementation of this policy. The Director will lead by example, ensure adequate resources are available, review the policy at least annually, and take appropriate action where breaches are identified.

All individuals working for or on behalf of VAAS Group Limited are required to comply with this policy; treat colleagues, clients and all others with dignity and respect; report any behaviour that may constitute discrimination, harassment or victimisation; and co-operate with any investigation into alleged breaches.

6. Harassment and Bullying

VAAS Group Limited will not tolerate any form of harassment or bullying, whether or not it is related to a protected characteristic. Harassment related to a protected characteristic is unlawful under the Equality Act 2010. Any individual found to have engaged in harassment or bullying will be subject to appropriate disciplinary action, up to and including termination of engagement.

7. Complaints and Grievances

VAAS Group Limited takes all complaints of discrimination, harassment or victimisation seriously. Any individual who believes they have been subjected to such treatment should raise the matter informally with the Director in the first instance, or if the matter cannot be resolved informally, submit a written complaint to the Director at 29 Byewaters, Watford, England, WD18 8WH.
